Join BRIDGEMEN in the final stretch of our 2013 holiday food drive as we bag loads of deliciousness generously donated by BRIDGEMEN and Safeway. There's hundreds of non-perishable canned and boxed items that need to be lovingly packed into bags to benefit low-income community members from Ward 86 and Project Open Hand.
This year's food drive doubled in size so we'll need a few good men to help out! Afterwards we'll walk over to Magnet's Art Opening to enjoy a little artistic "Balance."
**Ward 86 at San Francisco General Hospital (SFGH) and Trauma Center was the first HIV/AIDS-specialized clinic to open its doors to patients, and quickly became an international leader in compassionate care, case management and HIV/AIDS research.
**Project Open Hand is a volunteer operated non-profit offering hot meals, grocery service, and nutrition education to qualified clients in SF. Beneficiaries include men and women living with HIV/AIDS and critically ill or home bound individuals.
