Get Your Weed On!

Get down and dirty with your host Matt H. as we help beautify native habitats on and around the 9th Avenue Children’s Playground behind the DeYoung Museum in Golden Gate Park. Meet us at the 9th Avenue Playground and assist our Parks & Rec friends in "invasive species removal" in other words, "PULLIN' WEEDS!" We may also tidy up the playground and sand box after a long winter of neglect (meow)! With your help we create a safer and happier space for children and families to enjoy!

Pack a lunch and afterwards we can walk to a sunny spot and picnic in Golden Gate Park to enjoy the fruits of our labor with our fellow BRIDGEMEN!

This is a rain or shine event so be prepared to do what we do best: Do Good! And Get Dirty!

I am wondering what people's thoughts are on eating lunch afterwards. It looks like it is going to be a nice day, so we can either bring something to eat in the park, or go somewhere near the park. Anyone have a preference?

Hi Guys! The weather is going to be beautiful tomorrow so don't forget to wear your sunscreen. Is anyone driving to the event? If yes, would you mind giving me a ride because I will be carrying a bunch of stuff. Thanks in advance!!! <3

I was looking forward to hanging out in the bushes in golden gate park! Unfortunately, my allergies are really bad today and don't think I can be in ground zero and survive tomorrow, so I have to cancel.

Have fun y'all and see you next time!

Hi Tiny, I look forward to meeting you. FYI Parks and Rec will be providing gloves, but you are welcome to bring your own just in case!
