** RSVP opens May 6th**
Join BRIDGEMEN and the San Francisco AIDS Foundation as we host an honest conversation about sex, status, and staying healthy at the next "Real Talk" public forum series.
Recent advances in science and medicine are changing the game for gay sex. New research shows that poz guys with an “undetectable” viral load have very little risk of transmitting the virus to their negative partners, leading many people to ask, “Is undetectable the new negative?”
Meanwhile, PrEP is dramatically reducing risk for HIV-negative guys. Whether poz or neg, we are living in a new era of HIV prevention and treatment.
How do you discuss your status before hooking up? What questions do you ask a guy before you f*ck? Is it enough just to say, “I’m poz” or “I’m neg,” or do we need better language to describe our status more precisely? What does this mean for intimacy and having the kind of sex we desire?
Join us to talk about this topic at the forefront of discussions in our community. This forum is free and open to the public and we're excited to see you there!
