Join your fellow Bridgemen for the Giants Parade!
Come hangout as we watch the handsome boys ride down Market Street to celebrate their victory! We'll be meeting at Pete's Coffee at the Powell Station entrance to the Westfield food court. We'll be heading upstairs about 45 minutes prior to the start of the parade with hopes of getting a decent spot.
If you have any little portable step ladders, feel free to bring 'um. :)
Please post comments if you have a better location/meeting time in mind, but we think this one is pretty central and should allow us to shift down up or down the street if we need to find a good spot. Hope to see y'all there!
Here's the Chronicle story and link:
Find those beards and panda hats, giraffe heads and Lincecum wigs. And get ready for what could be one of the biggest, craziest parties in the city that knows how to party.
The Giants' victory parade will begin at the foot of Market Street at 11 a.m. Wednesday. The parade ends at Civic Center. Yes, on Halloween. The city that revels in Bay to Breakers, Halloween in the Castro, and any chance to dress up (or down) and party, will throw an orange-and-black celebration to rival all others.
