The Princess and the Frog finds the lives of arrogant, carefree Prince Naveen and hardworking waitress Tiana crossing paths. Prince Naveen is transformed into a frog by a conniving voodoo magician and Tiana soon follows suit upon her fateful kiss with the frog prince who desperately wants to become human.

With the help of a trumpet-playing alligator, a Cajun firefly, and an old blind lady who lives in a boat in a tree, Naveen and Tiana must race to break the spell and fulfil their dreams.

The Princess and the Frog is a modern day retelling of the classic story The Frog Prince that will thrill a new generation of fans!

A thoroughly enjoyable movie - just found myself thinking back to it and having a chuckle remembering the trumpet playing alligator. Thanks AJ for bringing the series to our attention. My Grandson and I will be sad to see it end.

"THE PRINCESS & THE FROG" was a real treat. The hand-painted cell animation was, as usual, breathtakingly beautiful on the big screen. The setting was in New Orleans and the bayous of Louisiana, with plenty of jazz music (a bonus for lovers of jazz). There was just the right balance between enchantment, humor and even spooky voodoo. Disney is right on the mark with this one - a movie for the young and young-at-heart!
