Ethical Society of Asheville
We want you to join us in this BUYcott so as to: Encourage more businesses to pay their employees a Living Wage. Make sure Living-Wage Employers get certified and become known in the community. Bring more shoppers to patronize certified businesses at every opportunity. Publicize the BUYcott troughout the region to help make all of WNC a Living-Wage community.
Jim, Just Economics has some new stickers made up that say "I shop living wage certified".... Can you send me an address and I will put a wad of stickers in the mail to you...

Jim Tobin, member of the Ethical Society of Asheville, generated the idea of initiating a BUYcott. Putting Ethics into Action was the topic of November meeting of the Ethical Society. At that meeting members, friends and first time visitors (who were committed to working on the projects for which they voted) overwhelmingly selected the BUYcott as the top vote receiver of three Ethical Action projects chosen by the group.
