  • This location is shown only to members

Bring your questions and carriers (and of course your babies!) and we'll share tips and techniques.

Lending library will be available.

Dads welcome as well as kiddos!

We are going to try and make this a recurring meet up on the last Saturday of the month. We'll vary the location, though.

I really enjoyed this, particularly as my first event. It was great to meet some other moms and awesome to learn about all the baby wearing options. Really looking forward to trying the mei tai out with my lil man!

My little one has a runny nose and is congested. I don't want to risk him getting anyone sick. Hope you all have a good time.

I own two slings and am not proficient in either. I'd really like to join, but am on the wait list. Is there anyway to bump this to 11 attendees? I'm a new mom and a little overwhelmed.

    Thanks,

    Ginger

Looking forward to coming! We missed meeting up at the festival bc dd slept late and figuring out parking made us even later. I am bringing my wrap and baby to let others try (the wrap not the baby lol) and i am excited to learn some tips or just get support as we are babywearing every day many hours and kind of getting the hang of it :-)

Hi everyone! Can't wait to see everyone! Two things:

    1) Mint Hill Madness will be going on during the party which means there will be streets closed in the area. Namely the main way most people's GPS will try to bring them in. So, here are directions from 485. If you need different directions, please let me know.

From 485 outer loop, take the Mint Hill/218 exit and turn left at the top of the ramp. Cross over Hwy 51. Turn left on Truelight Church Road. Truelight will "T" into Lawyers Rd. Turn Right on Lawyers Rd. Turn right on Lawyers Station Dr. Go to the stop sign. We are the 2 story caddy-corner from the stop sign. Our mailbox has the house number and our name.

    2) We have special guest coming. Ann Jordon is an expert wrapper (hehe, wrapper/rapper... see what I did there...anyway), she is bringing some of her wraps and going to answer questions and do some demonstrations so bring your wraps and your questions!

    See you all on Saturday!

Hey everyone! Lauren has had to schedule an out of town trip for the 29th, so we are going to move the sling party to my house for this month. I am currently looking for larger public places to hold future parties but haven't found anything yet. If anyone has any suggestions or would like to host a party in the upcoming months, please let me know!

      Why not a library?

      September 14, 2012

I thought of that! Unfortunately, they charge $50 for the use of their meeting rooms, and I'm worried about just taking over a library without having permission to hold a meeting. The parks charge too, plus the weather is so unpredictable. :-/
