Aquilent, recently named one of the Top 50 Best Places to Work in DC for 2010, is seeking a .Net Developer to join an exciting new project supporting an agency within the Department of Health and Human Services. This project entails the design and implementation of new features and enhancements to three government websites to increase citizen engagement and awareness. This includes but is not limited to the information architecture, applications infrastructure design, development, maintenance, support and fine tuning of the system. We will also be assisting in the CMS selection process for this client.

We are looking for someone with three to five years of experience developing and supporting large-scale web sites, particularly within the federal government domain. The candidate selected for this role will have a solid technical foundation as a web developer coupled with polished business acumen.


Expertise in use of the Visual Studio .NET toolset, configuration of the .NET framework, development and deployment of web services, configuration and assessment of Internet Information Server (IIS), and development and writing of applications design and configuration documents at a proficient level.

The ability to:
 Work closely and effectively within a small/medium sized development team
 To quickly gather and apply technical/domain knowledge about existing systems
 Design, analyze and develop system applications as needed to support business solutions initiatives

• At least five years of demonstrated practical experience developing enterprise solutions.
• Demonstrated experience with full SDLC.
• C#
• Web Services
• Visual Studio/Visual Studio.NET
• SQL Server
