Movie Date with Baby!

Let's go see a movie! The theater at Blackstone Valley has movies that are specifically for parents with babies. There is dim lighting for easy child care, lowered volume for babies ears, changing stations, and a stroller area. This Thursday the theater is showing the movie Gravity starring Sandra Bullock and George Clooney. Regretfully, I won't be able to make this meet up, but Kelley has volunteered to be the point person : ) So be on the look out for her!!! Thank you Kelley : ) She will be where all the couches are right next to the ticketing. You can't miss it, it is right in front of you when you walk in the front doors. The movie starts at 12pm so meet up will be at 11:45. If you are running late and don't see any babies by the couches, then head into the theater. With the lighting you should be able to easily find the other mamas. After the movie, whoever is up for it can maybe grab some Cold Stone! Mmmm! The movie is $6.00, and no charge for baby : ) Have fun, I wish I could make it!

Sorry i didnt get a chance to introduce myself to the group! We got there early and baby was fussy so we went inside to nurse. It was cool being around other brand new babies and hearing cries that werent mine made me feel so normal! Looking forward to seeing u all again!

Looking forward to seeing everyone tomorrow! I believe there are two different entrances and two Floors to the theater, so we'll meet on the lower level. Feel free to call me at[masked] if you have trouble finding the group.

Anyone thats done this before know the best way to carry your baby for this? Carseat, arms, body wrap etc?

I've gone before. You can bring your stroller into the theater and when the baby wants to be picked up you can keep them in your arms. It was pretty empty so there was plenty if space for strollers and carseats.

Sounds like a great idea...that was my exact question. I wasn't sure if to bring the stroller :)

wow that's really cool- how often do they do that? I will try but am not sure I'll be able to make it this time- have an appointment at 10am in Westborough.

Hope you can make it! Previews will probably run about 15 minutes. I think they have the baby movies almost every week.
