Join us to celebrate the Bacchus Club's Third Anniversary on Friday, September 6 at Zin Wine Bar for a tasting that compares five French and five American wines. The tasting is strolling with passed hors d'oeuvres served. The cost per person $40 plus tax/tip.
The Paris Wine Tasting of 1976, or the Judgment of Paris, was a wine competition organized in Paris on May 24, 1976 by Steven Spurrier, a British wine merchant, in which French judges carried a blind tasting comparison of top-quality wines from France and California. A California wine rated best in each category, which caused outrage among the French wine making industry.
On a smaller scale (and budget), the Bacchus Club will host our own "Judgement of Paris." Wine representatives from AHD Vintners and Imperial Beverage will pour selections of French and U.S. wines.
Friday Night wine tasting is a re-occurring meet-up event that usually held on the first Friday of the month. We meet at Zin Wine Bar in Plymouth, MI. The venue's capacity is 60 so I need to limit the number of RSVPs. If you want to join us and its filled up, please use the wait list. The attendee list is very fluid - people change their RSVPs all the time.
