It was a balancing weekend. The balance between mountain tops with sleet on Saturday and calm valleys to avoid hurricanes on Sunday. Balancing on a suspended log and trying not to knock Tamara off with my trailing leg. Keeping a balanced volume of parsnip soup in my stomach at any one time. I come back to London with a greater sense of balance in my life, from a very nicely choreographed weekend away. I'm nicely Lake'd up. Thanx G&E.

3 syllables. 1st syllable; something used to blow air. 2nd errrm. 3rd syllable; Winnie-the-pooh threw one under a bridge. I wanted a turn to play charades really! Thanks Etiennette and Geoff for a great weekend.

I've paid a deposit now for a single seater kayak for Sunday 29th. If you want to book for yourself please see below a response from the kayak company:
availability is good at the moment but as we do not do provisional bookings, we kindly request a small deposit to secure the booking. This can be done on the web site www.u-cando.co.uk on the tariff and booking page. The kayak can then be booked 2-6pm Sunday 29th may. please let us know when you have paid so we can reserve the kayak for you.

Hiya - will be driving, have another 2 seats and leaving from Walthamstow, can pick people up from north London or around walthamstow on the way. The only thing is you may need to take half day off work as it's a long drive and bank holiday so would like to leave early. Let me know x

    Hi Hannah,

Etiennette and I don't eat meat either so there will definitely be food for vegetarians. There will be meat for those that eat it too.

    March 8, 2011

  • Achyut P.

Hi Hannah. From past experiences, there is always a vegetarian option for all the meals. I think it will be the case on this trip as well. :)

    February 27, 2011

  • Hannah

Hi Etiennette, I noticed that food is included in the price. Will there be vegetarian food?
