Historic Haunted Cemetery Wine & History Hike !

This  is one fun event.  NOTE:  I have added some new trails & they take us deeper above the back canyon with unique rock structures & a black pond.  Then a different entrance to the coolest cemetery you have ever seen.

This is an easy hike of about 4 miles.  Lunch will be at the pond behind the historic General Vallejo home.  We will have a wine picnic next to the pond with huge  Koi fish & lot's of turtles.  An optional "Docent" led tour of the home will follow.

Then after you are fed & wined up.  We will head into the town Square of Sonoma.  Here we can spread out into  smaller groups & i'll have wine tasting passes for all winos.   You may shop & sight see & taste wine (again).

Our optional but always fun dinner will be around 5:00-5;30 pm.   I'll have  maps and other info for where we all will meet for dinner.

Then you may go home, wined & fed & relaxed , & educated & well satisfied as you have just experienced " Another crappy day in Paradise."   Ha, ha !!

Wear good hiking shoes. And maybe bring a more comfortable pair for after the hike.  Bring a lunch.

I'll have for all:  Wine at lunch.  Wine passes for in town.  water, Juice, Tea, lattes, Gourmet Fruit & Nut packs, soda, Trail Bars, Protein & Energy drinks, hiking poles, & paid for touring tickets.  Good for all year.

cost: Only $27

Meet & park in the State park Lot.

See you soon in the "valley of the Moon".

Would have been much better except for the heat blast that hit us???? A few dropped off & some stayed for the Historical tour & some headed into the square to get a cool drink. Must have hit 99 by 3;30 pm???

Hi, how long is the actual hiking time? Are children able to go? We have a one year old that we carry on our back when we usually hike.

This is my easiest wine hike. But you will need to remove your keiki (Child) in Hawaiian) at times as this is not a walk in the park. Some rocky & cliff like areas. Secret hole in fence, etc.

Sorry to have to back out. My parents are making a last minute visit. Hopefully you will do this one again.
