Spooky Dark Forest,Waterfall & Wine Adventure !

This is a new hike from last Fall.   But now is the best time as we did it after the rains in early Feb. & it was grand.  Shari said it was the best one I have conducted.  But she has never been on a "Indie Jones"  Adventure or the Four Beach adventure, etc.  Who is that girl anyway ?

Ok, listen up:  This is a moderate 4 mile trek that starts out very easy & gets more difficult for the Grand Finale 5 waterfall level scramble down  to the top of the big falls where we will have our Wine picnic .

(Description)  Creek crossings, lush trails, dark spooky forest, High mossy cliffs, large boulders, cliff ledge walking & waterfall crossings.  Then a stop at 1-2 wineries for tastings.  Optional dinner will follow.

We will meet at the crossroads & shuttle up the Mtn. from there.

Good hiking shoes are a must.  Wear layered clothes,  bring a lunch.

Supplied by me:  water, juice, tea, soda, cold latte, energy & protein drinks, snacks, trail bars, gourmet fruit & nut packs, hiking poles, gloves & jackets & ponchos (if needed). Car shuttle and/or car pooling/pickup. Plus an amazing adventurous day.  Wait there's more !!! The winery visits & tastings are also included. (In over priced Napa valley?)

And at lunch; individual wine bottles w/glasses for all winos. (Up to 9 varietals to choose from)

Cost: A meager  $25   The coming big inflation will soon make this  a joke.

This area is East of St. Helena & is about the same distance as going to the Wine castle.

Dark with sunshine lighting the way to the Falls. Easy until the waterfall & ledge walking & climb down. That got their attention. We hit two wineries after the hike. Some made it for the after hike dinner. If you missed this; Mr. T would have yelled at you.

Hi Tom...I have to cancel last minute; I'm bummed because sounds like a very cool hike. I hope you host it again sometime.

NOTE: Please park in the fruit stand lot with the Porta potty. If the stand is open for biz. you may have to park on the roadside just above the porta potty. S.W. corner.

Hi All. What a fantastic hike today. It was great to meet everyone. Such a fun diverse group and Tom was the best. The only other man over 70 that wore me out was my dad. Thank you Tom for organizing the hike and getting us all together. Had a blast. Barbara
