I have been working on this one for awhile.   Check it out !   Warm clear , silky smooth water. Beautiful scenery, wildlife, sandy beaches, & an easy paddling experience. *** Cool long, sleek blowup kayaks for rental.   Holding 2 adults, a dog & one keiki (kid)   . Or three adults.   I have seen them & been in them.  Very comfortable.

WE will be doing the day trip of 4-5 hours.  Finishing about 4 pm.  I'll have several dinner options & locations nearby for after.

They will make you a lunch, but I think it's too expensive.   So bring your own & they will provide dry bags.

I'll have all the usual for everyone:  Water, Juice, Tea, Soda, Cheese & crackers, Trail bars, Energy & protein drinks, latte's, Gourmet Fruit & Nut packs, & VINO of course.

**NOTE:  my new reserve Steelhead wine is now available.  In the cool small bottles w/glass.

NOTE:  The meetup time is 9:30 am sharp !!

Get together for carpooling.  I can take 3 plus myself.

Cost : $65

Bring your own kayak, if you have one.  The cost will be $30.

This will a whole bunch of fun.

Thanks Tom - had a fun day with all the adult "kids" and dogs - jumping from the rocks, water pistols, beer ransoms, great weather, but no rods to catch the trout. Great Healdsburg winery for tasting, & they were forgiving for the bottles knocked over. Good crowd of folks. Don't forget to sign up for Tom's September kayak trip in Tahoe - another adventure.

All the no shows from other groups really, really, really, missed out big time on this event!!!!
It was better than I anticipated. I'll post my photos. Shauna & Eric , what happened to you.??
The rock jumping, the schools of big trout, the rapids, the swimming, the wildlife, the clear water, the dogs were a blast that came on the kayaks, canoes, etc.
We also went to a nearby winery & then half made it into downtown Healdsburg for din din.
I will schedule this area again in Sept.

OTE: new fun stuff, etc. I just returned from up North at the kayak location. The river looks great. We get a treat when we return as they will give us ICE CREAM !!! Plus There is a great WINERY just over the river around the corner that has Bocce ball Ct.s & great shaded tasting areas & gardens overlooking the Russian river. We have an option to stop here before they close at 5:00 pm. Six tastings p.p.
    A great spot to unwind.........

Since the kayaks have room for a dog, does that mean our pups are invited to come along?
