I think there has been enough rain to make this trek really super enjoyable again. It's been quite some time since we did this great outing. It is near the border of Solano & Napa counties.
It's about 8 miles with a gradual climb to about 1000 ft. & then up & down thru all kinds of terrain. Super N. Napa valley views. Views to G.gate also. we will have lunch on the trail by a hidden lake. Then crossing creeks & high ridge walking over the lake. This place is loaded with wildlife. you never know what we will see or what will run into us???
The best part takes us down, down deep into a prehistoric canyon with huge ferns along a fast moving creek. Then on to the wild moss covered boulder formations & the waterfalls & rock wall ladder drop down. Really very cool to see.
After we will (optional) go nearby to some very special eating & drinking places on the Napa river. It will be hard to choose.
So who is coming ??
I'll have more directions, parking info later.

Bring a lunch & good hiking shoes. A camera.
