I'd say it's the 'free thought' part, above any ties to atheism. I don't care what people believe as long as their willing to have a 'fair' and 'honest' discussion of reality.
I recently published a book. It's about what it takes to see our true humanity through a busy world and a one track subconscious. I own a dog. His name is Lucky. I'm laid back, honest, and sometimes get social anxiety.
My name is Joe. I've been an atheist my entire life, but I never even considered it until a few years ago when I found 'the movement' on Youtube. I'm very open and laid back. Labels, even atheism, don't define me.
