The Fifth Annual Orange County Freethought Conference

We are excited to announce our fifth annual conference to be held once again at the Howard Johnson in Fullerton, CA.  Please register before the registration increase on April 1.

This is the only secular conference in Orange County. Our nationally-known speakers will entertain and educate you and the side-show video playbacks and our evening comedian will make you laugh.  Come enjoy the company of other atheists, agnostics, skeptics, church and state separatists and humanists.

Our speakers this year are

Christina Rad - Atheist blogger and speaker at many secular events around the world

Barry Lynn -  Executive director of Americans United for Separation of Church and State

Jerry DeWitt -  former southern minister

Micahel Weinstein -  founder and president of the Military Religious Freedom Foundation

Dvid Sillverman - a firebrand atheist and director of American Atheists.

Edward Tabash - first Amendment attorney and a spearhead leader so church and state separation.

David Fizgerald - author of 'Nailed' and popular atheist speaker.

Heaina Dadabhoy, - writer at the Skepchick blog and one of the few ex-Muslims to speak at national conferences.

And a very special guest speaker from the skeptic's community.

There was a great selection of speakers. Even though we have no gods and such to unite us, the organizers were able to come up with a variety of speakers on topics relevant to all. We were also warned about the impending 5-4 SCOTUS vote, which happened on Monday. Who said atheists don't have prophets?

My first conference too, Drew. Enjoyed the speakers and got lots of info about the harm that religion is doing to our health, education, our military and our democracy. Really good ideas about what we can do to make things better. .
