Brought up Methodist, became a (highly conflicted) evangelical Christian in my teens, experienced a rapid de-conversion in my early 20's as I discovered and fully embraced philosophy, reason, critical thought, and the Enlightenment.
I consider myself an agnostic atheist because I think it is the most rational path, but if you held a gun to my head demanding I come down on one side of the fence or the other - I would fall on the atheist side.
A freethinking skeptical agnostic native Orange Countian; I am a computer systems engineer by day and musician, poet, and dreamer by night. I love my life and wouldn't trade a reason-based second for a lifetime of ignorant mindless faith-based bliss.
Always a good, though-provoking time.
