IMPORTANT DETAILS: Hello Columbia Astronomers, This is a reminder for our April Meeting. On behalf of Astronomy Day which is on Saturday, April 20th, we will be representing the Columbia Astronomers at Griffith Observatory. As part of the event, Griffith Observatory will be providing a Star Party and activities from 2pm-Closing. This event is FREE to the public. It will be great to see all of our members at this event! If you are on the list to bring a telescope, we'd recommend arriving before 4pm. Also if you'd like to park within a somewhat decent walking distance of the Griffith Observatory, arrive before 4pm. We also recommend bringing lunch with you, as the food is a bit pricey at the Observatory's café. If anyone needs assistance getting to the location or how to set up, please email Sheri. There will also be some members meeting up at the Space Center to carpool together. If you are interested in do the same, please email us back! We will also like to announce that our website has gone LIVE! It is still a work in progress, but go ahead and take a peek! Just click here. Any Questions, Please let us know! Thank you, Anny M.
