This is a reminder for our July Meeting which will take place on Saturday, July 20th. The meeting will take place at the Columbia Memorial Space Center (12400 Columbia Way, Downey, CA 90242). The doors will open at 6:45pm. The meeting will begin at 7pm and end at 9pm.
Please note that Saturday is also "Rocket Fever" for kids during the day at the Columbia Memorial Space Center. More information can be found at http://www.columbiaspacescience.org/.
There will also be an after-meeting star party on Saturday so bring your telescopes if you'd like to join in!
The Columbia Memorial Space Center is welcoming aspiring astronomers of all ages to join us for our monthly Astronomy Club meetings. These meetings will include a fascinating program about the night sky and a chance for members and guests to get together and talk about all things astronomy. These meetings will also provide information on how to pick the proper telescope, how to use a telescope, how to build a telescope and how to identify different celestial objects.
Doors open at 6:45pm and meeting starts at 7pm.
Meetings are held on the third Saturday each month from 7-9pm.
