Have Lunch with Lucy - (she is REALLY old though)

he original fossils of Donald Johansen’s 1974 find,Australopithecus afarensis are on display along with a reconstruction.  Although it isn’t large, I highly recommend this exhibit.  It is well laid out and explained, and there is a nice mural depicting our ancestry going back 6 million years.   The Lucy exhibit ends on April 28th, and once they leave the Bowers,Lucy’s fossils will be permanently housed in Ethiopia and not go on tour again.  Thus, this is your last opportunity to see this major anthropological find.  Cost is $12 for adults, $10 for seniors, and parking is $6.

Itinerary -  We'll be going as a group with a docent at 12pm to see Lucy, then we can see the other areas of the museum witch includes a special Gem display, then lunch at 1:30pm at the Tangata restaurant, which is on the museum grounds. Please arrive about 11:45am. Lunch is optional - or just join us for conversation!

Tangata's menu is HERE.  PLEASE RSVP before Saturday so I can make the appropriate reservations.  Thanks
