Its that time of year again! Come join us the night of October 12th to see just how important and fascinating the moon really is. We will have plenty of telescopes for you to view from as well as a special educational presentation all about the moon “From Formation to Exploration.”
As a special treat we will let you take the moon home with you! We will have crew members of the InOMN available with an astrocam and laptop ready to give you live picture of the moon! All you need is to provide a USB thumb drive!
The Columbia Memorial Space Center is welcoming aspiring astronomers of all ages to join us for our monthly Astronomy Club meetings. These meetings will include a fascinating program about the night sky and a chance for members and guests to get together and talk about all things astronomy. These meetings will also provide information on how to pick the proper telescope, how to use a telescope, how to build a telescope and how to identify different celestial objects.
$2 for non club members.
Doors open at 6:45pm and meeting starts at 7pm.
Meetings are held on the third Saturday each month from 7-9pm.
