UPDATE: We'll be setting up carpooling from the OC Freethought Conference in Fullerton (see that meetup). If you are not going to the conference, please email me (Jan Rasmussen) to make other arrangements.

We'll be leaving about 12:30 pm.

Let's visit one of Southern California's most unique museums, THE MUSEUM of JURASSIC TECHNOLOGY in Culver City.

I visited this museum many years ago, and it's uniqueness has stayed with me. The exhibit I remember the most explained, in a very convincing manner, how bats could fly through walls. Its exhibits are "tongue-in-cheek", mocking the world at large. Or were the exhibits truly real? Let's go and decide for ourselves.

The Metro Expo Line stops just 3 blocks from the museum entrance. Tickets are only $5, round trip. Parking can be a bit tight near the museum, and taking the train would be fun. But we'll decide whether to take the train or carpool closer to the date.

Museum tickets are $8 for adults, $5 for children ages 13-21. Please bring exact change if possible.

More on the museum:

The Museum of Jurassic Technology in Los Angeles, California, is an educational institution dedicated to the advancement of knowledge and the public appreciation of the Lower Jurassic.

this place is awesome. Definitely one to mess with your head. Have of it is real and half is pulling your leg. It's up to you to figure out which is which.
