Martha Stewart Craft Night- Pressed Flowers in Glass

Martha Stewart has a variety of crafts I have always wanted to try.  The pressed flowers in glass is an easy craft that comes out very nice and with many flowers in bloom should easy to find colorful flowers. Bring your own materials- If you need help let me know :)

Materials List:

Pressed Flowers

2 pieces of glass- Can be purchased at crafts store or frame store

Copper or silver tape- I will have a couple of rolls.

Directions:

You need to press the flowers for a least week (best if it's 10 days so they are completely dry)  inside some heavy books (like the telephone books that keep showing up in front of my house)

This was a very fun, creative evening. It was inspiring to see everyone's interpretation of the pressed flower as a media. Thanks to Leslie for coordinating this artful gathering.

I had a difficult time finding the tape, tried Michael's and Hobby Lobby they had no idea what I was looking for. Settled on a floating frame which includes 2 pieces of glass and frame to hold it together. Looking forward to the meet up.

I can change the day of this meet up. I am trying to get an idea of what people's schedules are and good days and times. Are weekends better? evenings? Let me know I'm very flexible :)
