NEW INFO: Sign up NOW at .  Please change RSVP if you cannot go. Text me if you have questions!

Seats available: 39

Explore California's rich history by touring diverse wine regions around the state. This trip will offer adventures that allow you to discover what makes each region special, such as terrain, microclimates, varietal plantings, and the local history associated with the area as well as the wine. You will learn about the techniques that California winemakers use in making different varieties. You will meet the grape growers, vintners, winemakers, and winery owners in special, behind-the-scenes tours, and you will find that winemaking is both a science and an art. The tour will include opportunities to taste, try, pair, and match wines with foods, and you will be exposed to many types of wines to help you expand your palate. Whether you are just beginning to learn or consider yourself a wine expert, the tour will help you appreciate and grow your knowledge of this exciting part of California's heritage. Course fee includes wine tasting, lunch, snacks, water, and transportation.

BUS TRIP March 29th

Some of us are taking a Wine Class at Bak College. Mike Stephanovich, the teacher, will most likely set up a wine tour by bus and announce it to his classes. There are usually extra seats. Soooo, we need to be ready to jump on those seats! Who is interested? (Cost might be around $80. While it sounds expensive divide it up into gas, driver, delicious lunch at a winery, 5-6 tasting rooms with samples, and an all-day adventure.) If Mike doesn't do the bus this year, perhaps we can figure something else out. Sign up if you are interested!

Just registered for both wine classes, Wines of Italy and Wines of the World, and the bus trip on March 29th.

I just RSVP'd too for the wine trip, and I also signed up for Wines of Italy. I'll set a new meet up for Wines of Italy, and you can set the meet up for the Wines of the World. All you do is click the "Schedule Meet Up" button at the top of the home page, and fill in the blanks!

Can't make it: I work Monday and 8am is a little early for me to imbibe. Have fun folks. :D

Haha. No, we are not drinking the wine at 8am. It is the time the sign ups open at BC.

LOL, I knew I was missing something.

To clarify, the "sign up" through Bak College starts the 5th or 6th at 8am. There is no imbibing at 8am (unless you are on your own). The wine tasting is in March, and we have to take a bus to get to the wineries.

BC still hasn't posted their winter schedule for the Levan Institute. If everyone can help be on the lookout for the new course schedule, that would be great! Here is the website:

Bus Trip is March 29th. Sign ups will be the first of the year, so I put Dec. 31 to help remind everyone. It will be through the Levin Institute at Bak College, so you'll have to sign up and pay them. It should be fun.
