I'm knocking around the idea of running a one-shot (or perhaps a mini-campaign) of the Space 1889 roleplaying game, either in Original Flavor or the Savage Worlds update. More properly "Planetary Romance with a liberal dollop of steamtech," PCs are members of the Britain-based Explorer's Society, who accept all members willing to uncover the mysteries of the solar system.
If I get enough bites, we can go forward with setting a When and a Where. I've gotten into the habit of running my games at a little game store in Eastern Market, which has the advantage of being accessible to folks on both sides of the Potomac, but I'm willing to entertain just about anywhere in NoVa, and perhaps a place in DC or Maryland.
