Samiah Ahlam: Sahmiah has been dancing all her life, with Bellydance being her focalpoint for the past 3 years. She has spent the past three years under the watchful eye of master teacher Devra Johari, whom she would like to thank with all her heart.1

Jehna: Jehna is fairly new to the DC area dance scene, havingmoved here this spring from the San Francisco bay area, where she danced at haflas and community events, and was a member of troupe Nour El Ain. Jehna has been dancing for 4 years. She currently studies with Yasmin and Noor Jihan. She is also known in some circles as the dancing astrobiologist and is excited to share her love of dance with you today at the All Seasons Hafla.

Eugenia : I've been dancing for about 3 years, with experience in ATS, tribal fusion, flamenco, and Chinese folk dance. I am a member of the ATS troupe Sammati, and my current teacher is Asharah.

Jewels Belly Dance Company- We are a small dance troupe from Bear Delaware. We dance Cabaret, gypsy, tribal fusion and hula. Our director and choreographer is Layla Leiani and we enjoy the spirit of the dance. Dancers at the show: Beth, Stephanie, Tanya, Amy and Peggy.

The Buffet is served!

Nina Amaya is a local teacher and dancer who is happy to bring you this hafla.

Layla Leianni Head director and choreographer of Jewels Belly Dance Company, I stress fun and enjoyment of the dance. After all there is a little Goddess in all of us just waiting to get out
Jennah : Jennifer Boswell (Jennah) began taking belly dance classes as a fun way to exercise and to learn about the beautiful art of Oriental Dance. A few months after attending classes, she was given an invitation by her instructor, Yousra El Banan to join Dokki Ya Mazika Troupe. Jennah won the rising stars best cane dance performance at the Arabian Nights show at colony south Hotel

Kallisti Tribal: Kallisti Tribal is a troupe of diverse, eclectic and sassy ladies in the Baltimore area. Amy, Brooke, and Nora all bring their own signature flair to the group, which combines American Tribal Style, Cabaret and tons of playful attitude. Kallisti Tribal is all about expressing their fun, positive energy with their audience and encourages you all to join in their joy of dance. With influences in American Tribal Style, Cabaret, Turkish, Indian, Hip Hop and various other dance forms, Kallisti Tribal blends their signature style to bring a fresh, spirited energy to Tribal Bellydance.
please email me at nina@... if you would like to perform. There is always
a headliner, as well, so it is not completely a student show.
