Aszmara, a teacher of teachers and a master at her craft has vast knowledge and experience in technical as well as performance skills. Clarity in teaching difficult choreography while maintaining a sense of fun leads to ease in learning, readily accessible material and an enjoyable experience for all. Her teaching style is highly energetic. As a master teacher she teaches master and beginner’s classes with the same enthusiasm. Her workshops, thus, are highly appreciated both by professional dancers as well as by beginners.
Aszmara is amazing. Every year she dances as a guest artist at the Folk Tours USA camp, and now she's coming to Baltimore! These workshops are appropriate for belly dancers of all levels. Students of Modern Dance, Salsa and other dance forms may also attend.
She will be teaching in the beautiful studio at the MAC, Harbor East, with wooden floors and mirrors. On Saturday December 6, she will teach two workshops, from 1-2:45 and from 3:15-5. Sunday she will teach from 11am -1pm, then she will star in the show at the All Seasons Hafla.

Dance Stretch & Hip Energy is the highly acclaimed first installment of her instructional DVD series, The Secret Desire with three other DVD’s to complete the series presently in production. Articles from her website have been reprinted in Bennu Magazine and Bhuz.com and she has recently taken on the task of chronicling her thirty plus years as a working dance artist. Aszmara hopes to enlighten, educate and amuse generations of dancers; the past generation with remembrances, this generation as they find their way, and the next as they feel the first stirrings of passion for this art that even after all these years, Aszmara still feels deeply within her soul.
