Right now my passion is learning Tribal. Cabaret is beautiful, strong and sensual. Tribal is earthy, storied, reverent and powerful. In rural Pa. it's a challenge finding classes, w'shops,"meet-ups" that aren't too far away but always worth the trip. I've enjoyed every opportunity and learned so very much from teachers like Ziva Gibbs, Toni Petroski, Lois Biedler, Lotus Niraja, Sera Solstice, Frank (omg!) from Colo., Belladonna & more from "Art of Belly", Ocean City, Md. Can't get enough!
My interest is in learning and enjoying as much as I can, living to a ripe, healthy old age as a Belly Dancer and sharing what I've learned w/others.
After 6 years I still think I'm new to B'dance and all the variety that comes with each teacher and style. I have perfomed as a Troupe Anwar dance member in Michigan, Virginia Beach and locally.
You're never too old to start up a new/old passion! I've always loved dancing! Wanted to be a go-go dancer @ the Wiskey-a-Go-Go back in the 60's! Now, from Cabaret to Tribal I can't get enough and it means more to me than ever!
Good but fills my mailbox with repetitive invitations
