Welcome and thanks for checking out the Baltimore Friends web page!

We are a group of men and women that either live or work in the Baltimore area. The group is composed of singles, single parents and couples in their thirties and forties. This is not a singles' group, but a group of diverse, interesting people who want to make friends regardless of their relationship status! Together this group will explore all the wonderful places that make Baltimore charming and such a great place to live and work!

If you enjoy meeting and doing the traditional Baltimore things like having a Natty Boh with friends, picking crabs and catching the O's game than this is the group for you. In addition to exploring the fun, traditional Baltimore places that are well known, the group will also have the opportunity to learn and experience lesser known Baltimore traditions and meet up for some of the best kept secrets that this city has to offer! With a volunteer organizer and other friends, we will plan events that include things like the movies, live music, outdoor activities, festivals, exploring historical places and events at various Baltimore locations. The events for this group will be planned regularly in order for our members (friends) to meet, socialize and have a good time.

Baltimore is a unique place and we as a group want to experience all it has to offer. It is this goal of the group to have a good time, create opportunities for friends to build a larger social network and to ultimately build enduring friendships along the way! Please consider hosting your own event and providing suggestions to make this group memorable and exciting!

Before you consider joining, please keep in mind that we expect all members to post a face picture of themselves and that if you RSVP please understand that we expect you to attend. If you can't attend, it is expected that you will give the organizer a call or email to let them know that you won't be able to attend. As a member of Baltimore Friends it is unacceptable to cancel the day before or 10 minutes before the event (unless there is an emergency or you are sick).
