Women of Color is a discussion group for lesbian, bisexual, and queer women of color from ages 20 on up. We meet face-to-face every 2nd, 4th, and 5th Thursday of each month at the GLCCB. (Gay and Lesbian Community Center of Baltimore) The group is one of the longest tenured group at the center. We've been around since 1989. Our mission is to provide a safe, healthy, and welcoming environment where women in the life can come and talk about whatever is on their mind. Our topics range from current affairs, social issues, personal relationships, children, the community, etc. Confidentiality is strictly required. In past years, we were able to engage in social outings with group participants, and would like to revisit that again. We do not welcome men, as this is a "women only" group.
