"Galaxy Collisions"

  • Jul 2, 2013 · 7:30 PM
  • This location is shown only to members

We will meet in the hallway near the entrance doors to the auditorium.

Tonight's talk, given by noted scientist Aaron Evans, is titled "Galaxy Collisions".  The lecture will be delivered at the Space Telescope Science Institute (STSci) on the campus of Johns Hopkins University.  It is part of a free public lecture series, covering a different cosmic topic each month.  After the lecture, we will be given an opportunity to go into the observatory, to gaze at the stars and planets (weather permitting).

There is free parking across the street from STSci. The lecture starts at 8:00 pm.

Thanks Eliezer for hosting this event which seams to get a lot of people out . Even though 4-6 billion years from now how they figure that what is going to happen is beyond me. But always interesting to listen to. Was good to see everyone again. I welcome Patricia (Trish) Holtzman to my sailboat group too. n
