Now that the weather is about to get warmer, many runners begin to turn their attention to the fall racing season. Join members of the Baltimore Road Runners Club to learn how to improve your endurance, increase your speed and gain confidence as you prepare for your upcoming races.
Overview: The Middle Distance Training Group is designed for individuals who have some running experience and are looking to participate in races ranging from 10 miles to the half marathon distance. The program will safely guide runners through an organized training schedule with the goal of improving their performance at the conclusion of the program. Under the leadership of experienced coaches, runners will be introduced to topics such as proper running techniques, pacing, developing a race strategy, speedwork, hydration, stretching, etc.
Workouts: A 12 week schedule will be provided to all participants. Schedules will be available for Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced Runners. Walkers are also welcome
Location: The group will meet twice a week on Thursday evenings and Saturday mornings.
- Thursday evening - Speedwork on the track at Goucher College

Time: Warm-up and stretching starts at 6:30pm
Workouts start promptly at 7:00pm
- Saturday morning - Distance runs Loch Raven Reservoir

On street parking is available at this location
Time: All workouts start promptly at 7:00am
