I was able to get buy-in from management to begin a Social Media initiative in September and have been making strides to integrate it into our marketing mix.
CRI Solutions is a division of Transamerica and works exclusively with credit unions. We provide financial service products for their members, such as GAP and credit insurance, as well as technology products, such as online account opening and loan applications. Our goal is to help credit unions better serve their members and reach new members, while also helping to make sure those members have options to protect their future financial security.
We currently only use LinkedIn because it was the service that management felt the most comfortable with and got my foot in the door for us to begin using Social Media. Plus, I felt it was a logical starting point as a B2B company. I plan to also incorporate Twitter, a company blog, and YouTube videos. I don't anticipate our using Facebook to promote ourselves. However, our clients use it to reach their members, so I am always looking for good ideas to pass along to them (and possibly incorporate into our future technology development).
Hi everyone! I'm responsible for marketing and external communications at CRI Solutions, a small financial services and technology company serving credit unions. Outside of work I enjoy being active in my church, and spending time with my family.
