We will end the year 2012 with a trip to the Philadelphia Museum of Art, one of the largest art galleries in the United States as well as a popular sight from the “Rocky” movies. This famous and well-known museum holds 227,000 works of art originating from Europe, Asia, Latin America, and the United States. Their works of art include paintings, sculptures, photographs, and various architectural settings from across the world. The museum also displays at least 25 exhibitions each year.
We will also pass through Logan Square, a neighborhood in Center City which contains one of Philadelphia’s originally planned squares, an open-spaced park and a large fountain in the middle of downtown.
Important Note: Admission to the Philadelphia Museum of Art is $20.00.
