“ This group actually trys to teach you something about Photography. I love walking tours as they show me places that I do not know about, but this group goes into Photography, not just taking pictures. This is the only group that I know of that sends you home with a CD of the lesson with information on it. I also like the location because you can just get a cup of coffee instead of feeling like you need to order dinner. ”

“ Can't imagine why. ”
— A former member on Dec 10, 2008.
“ This was my second time to the group. Overall I think that the intent and spirit of the group is moving in the right direction. I agree that it would be beneficial to all if more time were spent discussing the assignment. I want the opportunity to have my photos critiqued but also, I want to be able to ask each photographer how they got the shot they present. I think that understanding how an image was captured will help everyone in the group and also lead to discussion around the techniques and technologies available to photographers. I really appreciate all the work that goes into setting up the meeting and providing everyone with such great resources of information. Perhaps we can try spending 1/2 the time looking at shots and the other half talking about the handouts.. Although last night was a bit heated at times I really think that it was important to have the discussion and get everyone thinking about what we want for the group. Thanks again to Antoneo and Art! ”
— A former member on Mar 13, 2008.
“ I liked the group and enjoyed the conversation. However, no one was there at 8 p.m. We didn't start until quite late, which means we didn't finish the meeting until late and after the long drive home, it was quite late. My suggestion would simply be to start on-time or make the meeting time for a little earlier. ”
