Meet up for some night time shots around town

  • July 20, 2014 · 8:00 PM

I love night time photography but I hate doing it alone plus there's the worry of being robbed. In a group we could all watch each others backs. Anyone interested?

I changed the date to 7/20 (today) so this meetup expires and does not show pending. I don't want anyone to think it is still coming up. DO NOT TRY TO ATTEND ON 7/20! You won't find anyone.

    Hi everyone,

I had joined the Baltimore Photography Meet Up group back in 2009. Had to take some time off for grad school. Well I graduated and looking to get involved. Looking forward to coming to the next meeting and checking out some future photo shoots.

    Thanks,
    Phil

Hi everyone, I'm a little unclear whether this is still pending or whether it happened. If it already happened, let's go ahead and close it down so we don't give people the wrong idea. Jim

I don't have a vehicle so I'd need a lift. This is the main thing keeping me from shooting right now.

I'm always interested and I go out a lot.

Sorry I've been away for a few days, I'm swamped with work. If we meet up late enough on a weekend I guess it won't matter much about crowds. I'm in Pikesville, anyone nearby?

    When and where???

You make valid points about weekdays vs weekends. If a major part of the event will be eating at the restaurant, a weekday makes more sense. If not, more people, including myself, should be more available on a weekend. Just my thoughts.

I know that weekends are probably the best for some of you because of working the next day but I was thinking maybe during the week because it would be less crowded, Thoughts? Also I was thinking maybe we could meet up in Fells Point, There's a really good Chinese restaurant called Ding How, they are located on the corner of Broadway and Aliceanna street. Food there is amazing! I'm thinking somewhere around 7:PM or so. Let me know what you think about weekdays VS weekends please. Thanks!

Hi Corrie, great idea, thanks for suggesting it. It might be a good idea to go ahead and pick a date and a starting place, perhaps somewhere around inner harbor. It would be easier for people to plan.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
