I'm hoping that I could get a little assistance from the group!
I started a personal learning project on the first of the month - I'm
doing a 30 shots in 30 days effort. The idea is to improve my ability to
conceive, execute and complete a shot concept quickly and effectively. I
have a particular interest in lighting ala Strobist style, so I'm going
to be focusing on lighting with small strobes. The challenge for me is
to pull together all the information I've been trying to absorb, and put
it to actual practice. I'm already getting quicker at getting the shot I
want, so I think this is proving to be a valuable exercise for me.
While I don't expect to be turning out masterpieces, I am trying to keep
the images visually interesting (or at least interesting to me).
The images are posted on my flickr account; the set is at
I would gladly receive critique, comments, criticisms, image ideas, and
what not - either via email or flickr comments. I'm pretty
thick-skinned, so you can be honest!
Thank you in advance for any and all help!
