A fab achievement that the organisers managed at short notice to move this from Gloucester park to the Guildhall, good bands.

Hi Steve Summer Sound have just posted on Facebook that they have spaces. I decided to do something else after they cancelled it this morning as I put my dog my kennels today & didn't want to risk getting up there & not getting in. It's a shame cause it's "turned out nice" now!! Have a great night

Cheers Karen, brothers and bones just finished, was worth coming, more bands to come, very hot in here but loads of spaces so if anyone else from the group wants to come they can have front row view as well :-)

Yep a real shame for the bands and the audience, was looking forward to it and had wet weather gear ready. Public safety does have to come first though :-(

Sadly due to the adverse weather conditions we regret to inform that Summer Sound 2014 has been cancelled.
Our number 1 priority for any event we organise is the safety of people involved - that includes members of the public, performers and staff. Due to the nature of the weather conditions, we have therefore decided to cancel the event.
    An event spokesman said: .
“Several options were considered before making this decision; including finding an alternative venue, but due to the potential numbers of people involved there aren’t any venues with a suitable capacity, let alone available at such short notice.
“This decision really is a last resort.
“We can deal with most weather conditions, but when it does reach a point where potential harm could be caused, we have to be realistic and that is why we have called the event off.
“We apologise to all of those people who were planning on attending the event, but we feel this decision was one that had to be made in the interest of safety.”

I'll be travelling from Cheltenham by bus on Saturday if anyone wants to come with me, aim to leave on the 94 from the Prom around 12.45. It takes about 30 mins to Gloucester Bus station then 10 mins walk to the Park. Plenty of buses back up to midnight.
Anyone joining in Gloucester or later on, probably easiest to ring me to find out where we are, unless anyone knows a good spot to meet?
    My number is[masked]
See you all Saturday, looking forward to a great day!

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
