What we’re about
Stories are an integral part of the fibre that makes us human. We share our beliefs, values and culture through stories. They tell us how we have come to be and connect us with others. We learn through stories. We are made up of stories. This Meetup group is all about bringing together people interested in telling stories in public spaces. Whether it's a folk-tale or a myth or a legend or a fable or even a personal story, we'd love to hear it being told. We'll organise theme-based story events, and create opportunities for story lovers--of all ages--to tell and listen to tales and re-discover some of what we've lost in our wonderful, but somewhat isolating, technological age.
