More Stories, More Experiences

Gear up for another round of stories on a nice Sunday afternoon! This time, we will tell and listen to stories across genres. After every story, we will pause to analyze the meaning it brings to our lives and share our experiences. Of course, we'll do all this while sipping some hot coffee and tea :)

Those of you who'd like to tell stories this time, please send the name and a short description--one or two lines--of the story to Sowmya ([masked]) or me ([masked]). We will have to keep the number of stories to a maximum of five, so let us know real quick!

Looking forward to this one :)

Cheers,

Deeptha & Sowmya

A captivating session! Enjoyed my first outing with the group. I would personally prefer to listen to tales of the modern milieu, adapted to a narrative style. Hope to hear them soon :)

Why dont you tell us one?!

I am a better listener sowmya :) However I will attempt to pen down something in a narrative form, a tale similar to this http://marinersdiary2...

Stories cannot be told without people to listen, so thanks everyone for being such a responsive, encouraging and supportive audience! It was truly overwhelming to see this kind of turn out; it gives us the impetus to do more and more every time. Eagerly looking forward to the October meet! :) And while we wait, please share your thoughts, comments, suggestions here and on the facebook group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/319287854872003/

Take care and tell lots of stories!

    Cheers,
    Deeptha

Ah!..that was lovely...i was completely engrossed in the session.Falak's quick presentation helped a lot!..It made me come back and search more. Thanks Falak.
Reshmi you were doing the story with great clarity...subtle humour here and there and the thinking cap helped too!!!
Mathangi's story about handling difficult situations was fab too...When you said children come with answers in 10 seconds..i was thinking how hard it is for us to think like them....and sometimes may be that's the key afterall..
Sowmya...you took me to a different world all together, I simply admired your way of telling that story.. you were totally in to it.. The way you took us to the china background..and the tagging of the threads...were awesome.I learnt a lot from your story today.
    Thanks.
And Deeptha i just loved oosi( what a name!!!!) and the songs...fun filled and fully energising! Thanks again.
    Looking forward to more meetups....

So Atta Galatta is fairly easy to locate. Assuming everyone knows the famed Sony Signal in Koramangala, with Sony World and Ezone on your left, keep going on Koramangala 100 ft Road till you reach ING Vysya ATM (it will be on your left). Turn right onto Jyothi Nivas College Road; there’s also a Sukh Sagar Restaurant at the corner. Proceed on the same road, passing by Mainland China, William Penn and a string of shops and eateries on your right. After you cross Coffee Day (also on your right), turn right on to 16th A Main. Atta Galatta is the second building on the right. Our meeting place is on the 2nd floor. Parking is on the side lanes. If nothing works and you're still stuck, you know you can call me on 99166 41717. :)

    See you tomorrow,
    Deeptha
