“PAPER RANGER” http://www.paperranger.org

…turning one man’s trash into another man’s treasure…
this project working under The Foundation of Thai Rural Reconstruction Movement since 2007

Paper Ranger is a group of Super Hero that comes to save the world via the process of using computer paper (especially A4) efficiently. We try to make full use of both side of the A4 paper, as we know about the human behavior that most of people used only one-side-A4 paper. Then, we collect those leftover one-side-used-A4 papers from some company, university, school, or anywhere to use them in our creative way. We originate them to be a lovable hand-made notebook with our attractive method.

In contrast, there are many students in the rural area that do not have notebook to use in the class. Thus, we send all those handmade notebooks to help them. We try hard to be the middlemen between both groups and we would like to spread our know-how to the social and let everyone be "PAPER RANGER"

What the attendees would get from the activity?

“FULL SENSE OF PARTICIPATION” in helping Thai students in the rural areas…
“FULL SENSE OF PARTICIPATION” in helping our world by making full use of papers…

Participation Cost: Baht  300

Well done everyone who came to paper rangers meetup today. We made roughly 550 notebooks and broke the record for the number of notebooks made it one day!

I have emailed everyone details of the meeting place and pictures so you know what you are looking for. If you still are a bit unsure please contact me and I'll try to help you our some more. If you are coming via MRT you should get off at the Phetchaburi exit and either walk 20 minutes to the Ital-thai building or grab a taxi.
If you cannot attend please change your RSVP, we don't want to be waiting around to meet people who won't be coming!
See you all Sunday, hope you are ready to make lots of notebooks!

folks, I hate to keep bringing this up, but I still don't know where the volunteer spirit house is on new petchaburi road. The map isn't much help, at least to me. All I know is that I should take the MRT to the final stop at Hua Lampong. More precise directions are needed.

I would also not suggest that you get off at the Hau Lampong MRT. In a taxi it is still 20 minutes. You would be better getting off at the Phetchaburi MRT where it is either either a 1.4km walk (20mins) or a 5 minute taxi ride. Please search in google maps for 'Carpets International Thailand Public Co.,LTD. Huai Khwang Thailand' to see the location of the volunteer house. Or 'Italian-Thai building' for the meeting location.

I started recycling back in 1972!!! I think I was the only one in L.A. doing it. It was a pain back then, but worth it. OK, OK..now you know I'm an old geek:).
