Bar Camp Atlanta 3 was a fun event. I do wish that a little more about how the program works was described by email and then in the initial meeting. After the initial meeting, few people seemed to know what they were going to be doing during the first presentation time. One would think that certain etiquette issues would have been understood by attendees, but there were some who were rude to many presenters - not letting them speak, or asking seemingly inappropriate questions. Maybe going over some ideas like this would not be a bad idea. Saturday morning attendance was a little low and slow, the round table discussion was a good way to cope with this, and I'm sure part of the reason for this was the change in dates due to other events in Atlanta. Food and drinks being provided made things simple. Some healthier options may have been appreciated though. Overall , I had a lot of fun and learned about a lot of interesting topics.

I thought it had AWESOME potential. My first ever bar camp. People told me that last year was better and that the one in Nashville was better. I didn't attend either of those. I loved the free food, all the smart people there, lots of sharing of ideas and strategy. Awesome! I wish there had been more sessions tho. I think the conference would be better if everyone who signed-up was required to state say "I'm going to do this session..." before attending. perhaps even having them schedule it (tentatively), that way more people would be compelled to give a session. As it was, the sessionizing was a little slim. I loved Mike Schenkel's session where we discussed how Chris could improve his "Fandom" idea, b/c it gave me insights into how ideas are pulled-off. Also, one of my dreams is to have an event where everyone meets everyone. Like speed dating, but for networking. I'm kinda shy, so it might help to start the conf w/ everyone meeting everyone briefly.
