BarCamp Atlanta is an ad-hoc gathering born from the desire for people to share and learn in an open environment. It is an intense event with discussions, demos and interaction from participants who are the main actors of the event.
Barcamp Schedule
Barcamp will start at 6pm at the Advanced Technology Development Center at Georgia Tech in Midtown. Barcamp will end Saturday afternoon.
What to expect
Be prepared to Demo or Speak. Barcamp is as good as the participants make it. Be prepared to lead or participate in a session, ask interesting questions, show off cool stuff you're working on and make new friends. Barcamp is not a typical conference where you are fed information in a one-way fashion. If you're planning on attending, you should think about how you'll contribute before you come. And after Barcamp, you should be willing to share with others about what you learned.
You don't need to make fancy Powerpoint presentations, active discussion on white boards is more likely. But if you have tangible items, feel free to bring them.
What to bring
This is an overnight camp and we will have indoor facilities for you to camp overnight. If you would like to camp, please make sure you bring a sleeping bag. We will have free wi-fi access during the event.
Thanks for the responses so far everybody; If you want to update the Wiki on pbworks you can: some responses so far for the two questions are:

One presentation I'd like to do is talk about my experience Autocrossing ... in my daily driver. I decided this would be a great topic after everybody was having accidents in the Winter as they slid on ice.
