"Boudler Duo Promotes Barefoot Running"

Good morning Barefoot Runners!

Last week Michael and I spent a few days in Steamboat Springs playing with minimalist shoes and doing some research on traditional Native American moccasins. On our second day in Steamboat, we wound up on the front page of the Steamboat Pilot sports section and on the Steamboat Today morning show. It seems the Daily Camera picked up the article this past Saturday and we thought some of you might be interested in joining the healthy discussion that follows the article. It's a very barefoot friendly article, but some of the comments are not so friendly.

On another note, for those of you who have missed the recent meetups, a few weeks ago Michael and I launched runBARE company as a barefoot running school to help mainstream barefoot running across the country. A HUGE THANKS to all who came out early on with your smiles and enthusiasm and inspired us to launch runBARE company! Aside from nationwide clinics, we're currently working on a book, which will be released in late Spring 2010. (For more info on what runBARE will be offering, check out www.runBARE.com)

For all of you "veteran" barefoot running club members, not much is going to change from our usual Saturday morning clinics, although you may witness us traveling out of town more often.

One final note, hope to see many of you at the Turley Turkey Trot 5K on Thanksgiving! Don't forget to RSVP!

With many thanks!
Jessie and Michael
