Description: We will be doing a three hour hike up through Pearl City's Waimano Home Valley. This beginner hike will take us up and over the hills and down to irrigation tunnels for us to explore and scare each other. We will then head down and around to the jungle floor for some scenic river walks and back up and out of the valley. Total estimated time will be two and a half hours depending on group speed. Bring water and let's enjoy some of the Ewa Forest preserve.
Head up to the very top of Waimano Home Rd in Pearl City. Parking will be on the left just before the gated Water Supply and old TB hospital.
What to Bring: Do NOT leave valuables in your car nor leave car doors unlocked near Hawaii trails. Not liable for theft or break-in's. Use caution when being exposed to the elements. Bring sunscreen or hat if need. Mosquitos may be present, so bug spray is also recommended.
