Announcing a new Meetup for Barefoot Runners NYC!

What: Tuesday Night Bridge Run -- featuring barefoot veteran Erwan Le Corre

When: December 15, 2009 6:45 PM

Where: (A location has not been chosen yet.)

Hey everyone,

Let's get one more run in before the holidays.

To change things up, let's run the Brooklyn Bridge and Manhattan Bridges. Great view of the city, and fun running the bridges. The loop is about 3.5 miles. If you haven't worked up to that distance barefoot (seriously), then you can run across the Brooklyn Bridge and back (about 2-2.5mi) -- or just partially across and back. It's gonna be very cold, particularly if it's windy -- so if you're not used to the cold, be sure to prepare accordingly.

*** ALSO -- there will hopefully be a guest appearance by the highly skilled barefoot runner, Erwan Le Corre. Erwan is the founder of MovNat fitness method:

Check out a kick-ass video of his running here (only one of his many skills):

Meet at the Brooklyn Bridge-City Hall 4/5/6 subway station between 6:45pm and 7pm. Meet inside the station, right in front of the ticket booth where the MTA person sits behind the plastic selling tickets. AND PLEASE RSVP SO WE KNOW THAT YOU'RE COMING.

- Tuesday (tomorrow) at 6:45-7pm
- Meet at Brooklyn Bridge-City Hall 4/5/6 subway stop in front of ticket booth inside
- Bundle up if not accustomed to the cold
- Erwan Le Corre

See you tomorrow!
