Meetup was created following the 9/11 disaster in New York. Mr Meetup saw how the whole community pulled together and was inspired. Despite the organizer fees and the organization effort, we don't charge (unless we have to cover costs). Furthermore, we try to negotiate discounted and even free drinks and food for every meetup. We simply want to make party in a British kinda way in this amazing city and meet great people of all nationalities.

We don't care if you don't want to or can't spend money. We don't care if you don't want to drink alcohol. We don't care if you want to speak Spanish, although we do encourage people to speak English given it is a Brit meetup. We are all just simple human beings, let's meetup and have fun!!
