You can join us for our Second Build Session for our first Community Project: The "Person Operated Drawing Machine."
It will be our interactive exhibit at Chester County PA's Mini-Maker Faire, and World Maker Faire in New York City.
John and Amy created a prototype that you can see here:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oRqhWbFRS7E
We had a great time playing and experimenting on 6/2, and it's already improved from that prototype.
Now we're going to try and get the roll of paper to spool, and easily rip off so you can have your drawing as a souvenir!
We also want to build one of these that we can wear, as a sandwich board,
So, here's some things we'll need, if you have them lying around:
plexiglass, plus a saw to cut it.
electric drill to create holes,
nuts and bolts and washers to attach legs to easels
eyelets to screw into the plexiglas
We also need a thin piece of wood to rig a way to easily rip off each sheet at the bottom when the participant is finished, and easily roll down a fresh sheet.
So many possibilities. This, is gonna be fun.
