Techie Breakie : Education and Technology

As part of the Bath Digital Festival we are organising two Techie Breakies in March. The first one is focussing on Education and Technology.

This event, on the role of education in technology, aims to bring together those interested in supporting the development of computing in education.

The breakfasts are usually extremely popular and unfortunately we have a strictly limited number of spaces so please RSVP quickly!

Claritize will be sponsoring the event (www.claritize.com) to keep the ticket cost down. And the great news is, once again, that we'll have pastries and bacon butties for breakie.

  A FABLAB is a digital design and fabrication laboratory - a digital creative hub for business to make prototypes, individuals , community and education. Hope to see you at the techie breakie to explain more and see if you might be interested in giving your support to this project. We aim to inspire people to make things while learning next generation technology. Great to have your opinion - is this a good thing for Bath? I think so !

  I would definitely be keen to make use of both laser cutting and laser sintered nylon fabrication if it were available without the 2 week turnaround time and shipping costs associated with Shapeways and Ponoko / Razorlab.
